sweet using .04 inch and thinner material

thinner material will heat up and be ready for form within 48 seconds if the heater has been on for 10 minutes heating prior with plastic pushed up flush to heaters. .060 doesn't like the heat and turns white from too much heat if flush. I am going to try to secure .060 again to it, but have the plastic sheet within an inch or so of being flush to let the air circulate instead of making white heat marks on the plastic

Easy to use

We are very pleased with the machine and everyone was excited to learn how to use it. We are an art department that uses it to make product mockups. It is only used maybe a few times a month. We use a Robinair 15600 vacuum pump to provide the suction. Sometimes it's a little tricky to get the plastic sheets secured in the frame. It usually takes two of us to get it aligned and held in place. It doesn't take up much space. We store it on a wheeled cart with the pump and sheets of plastic on the shelves below. Assembly and operational instructions could use some illustrations. Additional videos would also be beneficial. Overall, works great for us.

frame needs work

I am happy with the unit, but had to retool the frame some. Forming area is small then stated for a good vacuum seal. Keep in mind I'm using 0.118 thick tabs with the robinair 15800 I think it was. Work great, but second the previous review about the framework. Still a great little machine till I buy a bigger pricier model.

Good, but frame is poor

Overall, this is a good product. The only downside is the frame that holds the plastic. The frame uses friction twist handles which hold the frame in position on the vertical columns. The twist handles are far too fiddly, and could do with a much simpler design. The frame is also oversized for the table. I plan on rebuilding my own frame to mitigate these issues. That should be unnecessary, given the cost of the product. Hopefully Centroform will rethink the frame (and offer a reasonable upgrade if they do.)
