Surface

Perfect for mounting surface servos such as your robot, you can use them as a pan / tilt base for cameras or sensors.

a good servo bracket.

a good servo bracket. What I like is that it is small and very strong. The quality is good.

Not for Actobotics, good quality though

This fits regular-sized servos. Don't plan to use it with your Actobotics stuff though because it won't fit.

Nuetral

I should have read the reviews. I expected the mounts to be compatible with the other Actobotics parts. As in I expected the holes of the feet to line up with something on the Actobotics channel. Further the documentation on the web site, the fact that the part shipped with 6/32 screws and that it is Actobotics all made me expect that the threaded holes for the servo end to be 6/32 like the rest of Actobotics. Instead the are threaded for M4 (4mm.) They didn't fit my expectations, but they are not all bad. They are light and strong. The shape allows access to the screws for the feet even if a servo is mounted. The aluminum threaded holes for the servo allow secure mounting of a standard servo with the plus that exchanging servos is easy and will holes are not likely to strip when this is done as can happen with plastic and wood servo mounts. The down side of the convenient access to the screws for the feet when a servo is mounted is that the mount consumes a wider foot print than the servo itself so it may not be great if your are doing a compact build.

Solid

This bracket forms a solid base for mounting a standard servo (Hitec HS-484HB in my case). The servo mounting holes are tapped, so you don't have to use nuts, which is convenient. You'll need to buy separate hardware to attach it to a surface.
